Food for thought

I am adding some spices to curry for tonight
Wondering if at all I am adding them right

Cardamom, Cumin and Coriander
Green chillies, Garlic and some Ginger

Pepper, Peas and new Potato
Turmeric, Thyme and juicy red Tomato

You can’t go wrong with these, my nan claimed
Let me taste and see if my efforts have paid

Something seems missing, may be its a clove
Checked recipe again, it says finally season it with love

So spooned the curry with love and my affection
Wish my guests dine and leave with satisfaction

More importantly hope no food is wasted, not a single grain
As respect to the hunger of thousands starving in disdain

Bon Appetit..

The poem is as delicious as the food was, I can vouch for it..I used the past tense as none of it was left and i personally was instrumental in not wasting even a grain of it.

Hello Floots, I am sorry I missed your lovely comment.
Same recipe made by two different people tastes different, who knows what makes something right and something wrong
